What Does IMHO Canada Believe?
Health is a human right protected under international law.
Health is not defined merely by the absence of disease or infirmity, but by the complete state of physical, mental, and social well being.
War, poverty, and natural disasters don’t discriminate and neither do we.
A statistic is merely a number, but the measure of one life is unquantifiable.
In serving the most marginalized communities, including those affected by poverty, conflict, natural disaster, disability, and social exclusion.
In empowering communities to build their own health systems and taking agency over their own challenges.
That every individual can play a role in serving others including you!
What Makes IMHO Canada Unique?
IMHO Canada is administered and managed entirely by volunteers. We have a successful track record of supporting and implementing humanitarian projects due to these key characteristics:
Extensive network of proven and reliable partners on the ground.
Direct ties to the communities we serve.
High level of cultural sensitivity and understanding.
Ability to work within existing frameworks in executing relief and development projects, thereby complimenting the efforts of those already working on the ground.
Credible and proven reporting relationships.
